Larry's Home for instruction is the famed Country Club of Miami in northwest Miami Florida. The practice area has a new 330 X 120 yard turf driving range and a 200 X 150 yard short game facility. The Country Club has two 18 hole Robert Trent Jones courses. In the 1960's Arnold Palmer and Bob Toski were the named Head Professionals when the property hosted the National Airlines Open once won by Lee Trevino. During that era Jackie Gleason lived on the property and his house still graces the land scape today. In 1961 Jack Nicklaus played here in his first event as a tour professional with Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, and Sam Snead. |
